Conference on the new law on non-profit organisations

At the invitation of the Commission for Sports and Leisure, some 140 people found their way to the Mamer Schlass village hall to find out about the simplification of administrative procedures and the new rules that apply to associations with the status of asbl under the law of the 7th of August 2023.

At the conference on the new law on non-profit associations, notary Edouard Delosch explained the changes to the articles of association, the categories of association and the financial management procedures that apply under the new law.

As Chairman of the Commission for Sports and Leisure, Tom Kerschenmeyer, in the presence of Mayor Luc Feller and Alderman Ed Buchette, emphasised the importance of the 40 or so associations in the municipality. The request for such an information evening came directly from the clubs, so it was a natural step to follow up on it.
