The composting centre
The composting centre at 39 route de Kehlen in Mamer is a facility designed to process organic waste into valuable compost, an organic soil improver used to enrich the soil and promote plant growth.
Residents of Mamer can pick up compost for their gardens at the Kehlen recycling centre.
Don’t forget to bring your containers (bags, buckets, etc.).
Larger quantities of compost (trailers) can be loaded directly at the composting centre in Mamer.
Hours of operation:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Closed: first and last week of the year

Route de Dippach container park
The Route de Dippach Container Park is a waste management facility where individuals and businesses can bring various types of waste for proper disposal. These parks are designed to enable people to dispose of their waste responsibly, by sorting and recycling it as much as possible. On site, waste is sorted into different categories, such as glass, paper, and old clothes.
Hours of operation:
Closed on Mondays
Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The SICA recycling centre
The recycling centre, located on the Kehlen industrial zone is a facility specialising in the collection, sorting, treatment and recycling of recyclable waste. The following types of waste can be delivered to the recycling centre free of charge:
- recyclable waste
- items you no longer need but which are still in good condition
- problem waste
- green bags (PMG-Valorlux)
Hours of operation:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
