SICA ecological calendar
In collaboration with SIDOR, the “SICA ecological calendar” is drawn up for each SICA municipality. It provides information on all the collection dates for the current year. Mobile collection dates and locations
Mobile collections take place 4 times a year in the municipality of Mamer, where you can hand in your problematic waste directly to us. You will find information on the substances collected and everything you need to know about the various activities of the SuperDrecksKëscht® in our leaflet distributed to all households. You can also use the “SuperDrecksKëscht® fir Biirger” collection service if you have large quantities of problematic substances, e.g. when moving house or at garage sales.

Valorlux
The Valorlux collection system uses blue bags in which citizens place their recyclable packaging, such as plastic bottles, metal packaging and beverage cartons. These bags are then collected directly from citizens’ homes, according to the ecological calendar.

Making waste management easier with the ‘Mäin Offall – Meng Ressourcen’ application
The Commune of Mamer is taking part in the national campaign to make everyday waste management easier.
To this end, the Environment Administration is making available the free mobile application « Mäin Offall – Meng Ressourcen », supported by local players, to help residents manage their waste on a daily basis.
Thanks to the virtual collection calendar, collection reminders and interactive map, all the information is at your fingertips.
The application is available in four languages (Luxembourgish, French, German and English) for citizens of around 85 communes. It can be downloaded free of charge from the AppStore and GooglePlay.

You can also take advantage of our on-demand collection services for old clothes, bulky waste, shrubbery waste, scrap metal and electrical appliances.
