Parking in the municipality
In order to improve the overall parking situation for residents of the Municipality of Mamer, the municipal council has decided to introduce resident parking with a permit.
The purpose of this measure is to make it easier for residents to park near their homes and to prevent certain parking spaces from being permanently occupied by non-residents or company vehicles.
The streets covered by the residential parking program are divided into several zones.
Without a permit for the relevant zone, cars may park on the street for up to 2 hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., provided the parking disc is displayed.

Residential Parking with a Permit
Residential Parking for Residents
Residents of the streets covered by the residential parking program may apply for a residential parking permit that authorizes them to park their vehicle in accordance with the law, namely for up to 48 consecutive hours.
Each household will be entitled to 3 permits at no cost.
Parking permits may be requested on behalf of members of households residing at an address located in an area subject to residential parking regulations who own one or more passenger cars.
These permits will beautomatically renewed toward the end of the year. It will not be possible to issue stickers for companies or commercial vehicles.

A fourth permit may be issued upon payment of an annual fee of 100€.

Parking
in public parking lots
Parking in public parking lots is subject to the regulations in effect at that location. No exceptions are made for holders of a residential parking permit.
Please note that the municipality has decided to standardize the parking time limit at all of its central parking lots to 4 hours.
Public parking lots
Parking in the public parking lots listed below is limited to a maximum of four hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Drivers are required to display a parking disc in a visible location.
The parking lots in question are as follows:
- rue du Marché: in front of Place de l’Indépendance + Schungeschten Parking Lot
- rue du Millénaire/route de Dippach: in front of Place de l’Indépendance
- Independence Square: Schlass Parking Lot
- parking lane in front of the SNHBM building
- rue des Maximins: across from and next to the playground
- rue du Millénaire: in front of Building No. 7 (R. Federspiel Building)
- Dippach Road: parking lot at the Technical Services building

Exception: Parking in the lot in front of Building 1A on Rue des Maximins is limited to 1 hour.
