Art for Mental Health

As part of Mental Health Awareness Weeks, the Mental Health League, in collaboration with the Maison Citoyenne, organized a day at the Mamer Schlass for professionals in the field. Through lectures and hands-on workshops, the event explored the role of art, music, and creativity in mental health care.

Mayor Luc Feller emphasized the importance of speaking openly about mental health and combating prejudice. Francine Closener, the Alderwoman for Social Affairs, was also present.

The exhibition “My Suitcase of Life” also demonstrated how art can be used to express emotions that are sometimes difficult to put into words.
