Christmas party for 65+ residents

More than 300 people aged 65 and over attended the Christmas party organised by the Commune of Mamer and the Commission for Family and Third Age in the large auditorium of the Kinneksbond Cultural Centre.

Even at an advanced age and if their health permits, many seniors wish to remain autonomous and independent. The local authority would like to take this into account by creating the conditions for good support and a good quality of life.
The local authorities also mentioned the introduction of an action plan for senior citizens and a project for supported housing in Capellen.
The special guest was Finance Minister Gilles Roth.
After the aperitif, guests were served a tasty menu in a convivial atmosphere.
