The Lycée Josy Barthel Mamer celebrated its 20th anniversary

The village hall at the Lycée Josy Barthel a Mamer (LJBM) was packed for the school’s anniversary party. More than 200 guests gathered to celebrate the school’s 20th anniversary in the company of the school’s directors, the Minister of National Education Claude Meisch, the President of the Parliament Claude Wiseler and members of the family of Josy Barthel, Olympic champion in the 1,500 metres in 1952, after whom the school was named.

The municipality of Mamer was represented at the academic session by the Mayor, Luc Feller, Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, Alderwoman Francine Closener and members of the municipal council.
