Swearing-in of Ms Georgia Drosou to the local council

At the meeting of 22 January 2024, Mrs Georgia Drosou (déi Gréng) was sworn in as a new member of the Mamer local council.

A retired official from the European Commission aged 60, she replaces Lea Vogel, who resigned before the end of the year after having served six months on the municipal council, to devote herself to her studies abroad.

The new councillor was sworn in by Mayor Luc Feller. During the municipal elections in June 2023, Georgia Drosou finished sixth on the Déi Gréng list with 674 votes.
