Pétanque Club Mamer: a donation for Télévie

To mark its 10ᵉ anniversary, the Pétanque Club Mamer organized a major tournament in September on its field next to the CIPA in Mamer, involving 16 teams from the commune as well as a team from Leudelange and one from Bertrange.

The event raised around 2,100 euros. The club then rounded this amount up to 2,500 euros. All proceeds go to Télévie. Télévie coordinator Diane Wunsch therefore travelled to Mamer to receive the cheque. She warmly thanked the club’s management.

The commune was represented at the cheque presentation by Mayor Luc Feller, Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, Alderwoman Francine Closener and members of the local council. In his speech, the mayor underlined the social role of clubs and praised the dynamism and solidarity of the commune’s associations.
