École fondamentale de Mamer: a donation for the Téléthon

The Kinneksbond school in Mamer showed its generosity by donating 3,610 euros to the Lions Luxembourg Foundation. The latter then donated the sum to the Telethon, which supports research into rare diseases. Funds were collected from children throughout the school.

When the cheque was handed over, the heads of the Foundation and the Téléthon warmly thanked the donors for their generosity.

The mayor of Mamer, Luc Feller, accompanied by aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette and alderwoman Francine Closener, was also delighted with the exemplary solidarity shown by the pupils and their parents. It would be important not to leave the patients concerned and their families alone,” he stressed.
