Pupils at Capellen Fundamental School collected money and food during December 2023 for a good cause.
People were able to buy ribbons and hang them on a Christmas tree at the Christmas markets in Mamer and at Capellen school. Thanks to this action, 700 euros were raised, which will be donated to the Téléthon.
For a month, the children were also invited to bring non-perishable foodstuffs to school, which will then be donated to Cent Buttek. Around 400 kilos of pasta, tins, etc. were collected.
The cheque and food were handed over to the heads of the two associations at Capellen school.
