A fitness trail at Bambësch forest

In the Bambësch forest in Mamer, the new fitness trail has been officially inaugurated. The municipality has set up eight stations along a 5.6-kilometre stretch of road for enthusiasts to train. The distances between stations can be covered on foot or by running.

It is also possible to shorten the itinerary and opt for a circular route that passes through just four of the eight stations. The length is only 2.7 kilometers.

The starting point is at the entrance to the forest, at the end of Rue Bambësch, where a large sign has been installed describing the route and stations.

Most of the stations are built of wood, to blend harmoniously into the forest landscape. For each station, corresponding signage has been set up with a representation of the muscle groups to be stimulated.

The fitness trail was initiated by the Sports and Leisure Commission.
