Traditional fair opens in Mamer

“Et ass Kiermes am Duerf” in Mamer. Mayor Luc Feller, accompanied by alderman Ed Buchette, alderwoman Francine Closener and members of the town council, officially opened the traditional Mamer fair. As every year, the Harmonie Gemeng Mamer played the ” Hämmelsmarsch ” and the famous Luxembourg song “Et ass Kiermes am Duerf”.

In his speech, the mayor stressed the importance of this fine tradition, which enables the commune’s inhabitants not only to have a good time, but also to meet other people. He thanked the organizers, fairgoers and musicians for their commitment.

Bumper cars, a merry-go-round, trampolines, a shooting gallery, duck fishing… there’s something for everyone in the Nic. Frantz sports hall. And no one will go hungry or thirsty.

The Mamer fair continues until October 27, 2024.
