At its annual general meeting, the Senioren Amicale Mameranus presents a cheque to a worthy cause. This year, a cheque for 300 euros was presented to the association SOS Détresse, which provides telephone assistance to people in need.
The commune of Mamer also supports a national project every year. This year, it also chose SOS Détresse, bringing the total donation to 550 euros thanks to an additional contribution of 250 euros.
This sum will be used to provide the association’s staff with the necessary equipment. Alderman Ed Buchette and members of the municipal council were present when the cheque was handed over.
