At the traditional New Year’s reception for the associations and advisory commissions of the Commune de Mamer, some 180 guests found their way to the foyer of the Centre Culturel Kinneksbond to celebrate the New Year in the company of commune officials.
Mayor Luc Feller, aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, alderwoman Francine Closener and almost the entire town council took part in the festivities.
In his speech, the mayor underlined the importance of clubs in a dynamic, multicultural and growing community. He also reviewed the projects carried out in collaboration with the clubs and for the associations. Luc Feller praised the good cooperation with the clubs and gave a brief overview of the events planned for 2025.
