Mayor Luc Feller served at Restaurant Kugener for a good cause

Every year on Mayors’ Day, mayors from all over the country gather at the Schueberfouer to serve in the restaurants for a good cause.

The Mayor of Mamer, Luc Feller, also took part in the event once again, serving at the Kugener restaurant alongside his fellow mayors Lydie Polfer (Luxembourg-City), Carole Weigel (Wiltz), Jean-Paul Mathay (Goesdorf) and Lucien Meyers (Wincrange).

Finance Minister Gilles Roth, along with Mamer Alderwoman Francine Closener, members of the local council and commune staff, came as a guest and was served fish and chips by his successor at the head of the commune.

As every year, a cheque for €5,000, representing the evening’s profits, was presented to the Red Cross.
