Mamer’s youngest schoolchildren support the Fondation Autisme Luxembourg

It’s a tradition on the Kinneksbond campus that on Candlemas Day, the little schoolchildren in early education and nursery, carrying their lanterns, pay a visit to the other classes and the school neighbourhood.

The proceeds are always donated to a good cause. This year, the money raised was donated to the Fondation Autisme Luxembourg, in the presence of Mayor Luc Feller, Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette and Alderwoman Francine Closener.

A total of €2,234.1 was raised, to which the Commune added a further €1,000.

At a small ceremony in the school sports hall, Patrick Simon, representing the FAL, took the opportunity to show the children a short film explaining autism. He also announced that the donation would be used by the Foundation to finance a minibus.
