The Commission for Social Inclusion, the Maison Citoyenne, and the ZpB (Center for Citizenship Education) organized a very enriching field trip. Participants were invited to take a journey through time to discover traces of Jewish life in the northern part of the country.
The program included guided tours of the synagogue (1870) and the Jewish cemetery in Ettelbruck, as well as Cinqfontaines (Pafemillen), where approximately 300 Jews were interned and later deported between 1941 and 1943. The participants showed keen interest throughout the tour.
The purpose of this field trip was to contribute to the work of remembrance and to raise public awareness about anti-Semitism and all forms of extremism.
