Elise Meisch wins the Commission de l’Inclusion Sociale drawing competition

In the run-up to the big Inclusion Festival in November, the Social Inclusion Commission organized a drawing competition for cycle 2 pupils at the fundamental schools in Mamer and Capellen.

Children were invited to draw their own vision of inclusion. The winning drawing will be used to illustrate the festival’s promotional brochure. Over 40 drawings were submitted, all unique, creative and imaginative.

Picking a winner proved to be a real headache for the jury. The members of the Commission de l’Inclusion Sociale (Social Inclusion Commission) didn’t have an easy time of it, even if a clear majority finally came down in favor of the drawing by Elise Meisch, a student from cycle 2.1 in Mamer.

Accompanied by her family, the young artist went to the Mamer Schlass to receive her first prize from Mayor Luc Feller, Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, and the President of the commission, Nadine Reinesch: tickets for Phantasialand for the whole family.

All the children’s drawings will be exhibited at the Inclusion Festival on November 14, 2025, at Kinneksbond School.
