Diplomas and medals for several local children

At the 52nd International Plastic Art Exhibition for Children in Lidice (Czech Republic), organized since 1967 in honor of the children murdered by the Nazis in the town in 1942, pupils from Mamer also had the opportunity to show their work.
A total of 25,000 works of art from over 70 countries are on display.
As part of the project, children from the Commune de Mamer received a diploma and a medal: Lisa Kayser, Édith Valet, Zlata Lysenko and Emma Souilah.
The awards ceremony was held at the Czech Republic Embassy in Luxembourg City, in the presence of Ambassador Vladimír Bärtl and Iva Mrazkova, Honorary Consul and Head of Art at the School.
The Commune de Mamer congratulates the young winners on their prize.
