Certificates for new baby-sitters

A dozen young people aged 15 and over had signed up for a babysitting course organized by the Commission for Family and Third Age.

Joelle Leuchter, from the Elisabeth Jeunesse organization, taught the teenagers all they needed to know about becoming a babysitter. The course included both theory and practice.

At the end of the day, the youngsters received their certificates from alderman Ed Buchette, local councillor Nadine Schmid and Simone Frank, President of the Commission for Family and Third Age.

The alderman welcomed the initiative and congratulated the young people on their commitment. He emphasized that they were taking on a great responsibility, but that thanks to the course, they were now well prepared for it. Young people can now register on the Babysitting.luthe online platform for babysitting services.
