The spring opening of the Mamer market on Place de l’Indépendance in Mamer was once again a great success. In glorious weather, many people found their way to the church square to inaugurate the market and do their shopping. The Holzem Keeleclub provided food and drink. .
Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, alderwoman Francine Closener and members of the local council took part in the springtime opening of the Mamer market.
In his speech, Roger Negri expressed his delight at the market’s success, which is an unmissable fixture on the first and third Friday of every month in Mamer. He also emphasized that the market is a popular meeting place for local residents. For his part, Jeff Bourg, President of the Fédération luxembourgeoise des marchés, stressed the importance of local markets.
Musical entertainment was provided by the Magic Jazzband.
