“Méi net am Mee” in favor of biodiversity

For the fourth year running, SIAS and its partners are inviting residents to take part in the “Méi net am Mee” campaign to promote biodiversity and create more living spaces for pollinators.

The principle is to leave the mower idle during the month of May to allow the flowers to bloom naturally. Even small areas left unmowed can have a positive impact on bees, butterflies and other insects.

Participants can order a sticker from the campaign partners and affix it to their letterbox or fence to show their support for the initiative.

A photo competition is also being organized: residents are invited to send in a photo of their garden, with the prize being the election of the most beautiful garden on social networks.
