Mamer in Motion, a charity day at the Maison des Jeunes

As part of the Mamer in Motion project, the Maison des jeunes Mamer-Garnich, with the support of the municipality and the Maison Citoyenne, organized a lively charity day in Brill Park.

Conceived and led by the youngsters, the event aimed to support the NGO Trauerwee through a Charity Run: each 1 km lap covered between 4pm and 7pm generated a donation of 2 euros. Mayor Luc Feller and Aldermen Roger Negri, Ed Buchette, and Alderwoman Francine Closener were also present to support the commitment of the organizers.

Starting at 2 pm, graffiti artist Charel invited the public to take part in a collective work of art, while DJs Jamey & Outlaws kept things lively. Circus workshops, facepainting and a creative wall completed the program.

The VC Mamer took care of the catering, and a prize-rich tombola rounded off a day of solidarity and committed youth.
