HPPA resident Tony Hoffmann celebrated his 90th birthday. Alongside his family, the facility’s management and Alderman Ed Buchette extended their warmest congratulations.
Antoine, known as Tony Hoffmann, was born in Arsdorf in 1935. He began training as a carpenter, but had to change direction at an early age following an accident at work. At the Wiltz clinic, he discovered his vocation as a nurse.
Over the years, he worked at the Clinique Saint-Joseph in Luxembourg City, at the MMRA steelworks in Rodange and, until his retirement in 1994, in the oncology department of the Clinique Ste. Zithe in Luxembourg City.
Tony Hoffmann was married to Mrs Henriette Rosseljong, who died in 2019. From this union three children were born, who later enlarged the family with five grandchildren.
Mr Hoffmann has always been a passionate beekeeper.
Three years ago, he moved to HPPA for health reasons, where he feels very well and regularly looks forward to visits from his family.
