Swearing in of Mayor Luc Feller and Alderman Ed Buchette

On the 8th of December 2023, the Minister of Home Affairs Léon Gloden swore in Luc Feller as Mayor and Ed Buchette as Alderman of the Commune of Mamer.

At the Ministry of Home Affairs, Luc Feller, succeeding Gilles Roth who had held the reins of the commune for 23 years before becoming Minister of Finance, and Ed Buchette were sworn in by the Minister.

The Minister wished the newly sworn-in members every success in the performance of their duties, and expressed his hope for good cooperation between the Ministry and the local councils, believing that only by working closely together will it be possible to work effectively in the interests of citizens.

The new College of Aldermen of the Commune of Mamer now consists of Mayor Luc Feller (CSV), Aldermen Roger Negri (LSAP), Ed Buchette (CSV) and Alderwoman, Francine Closener (LSAP).
