Every year, Burgomasters’ Day brings mayors from all over the country together on the Schueberfouer to serve in restaurants for a good cause.
Beforehand, a cheque for €5,000 was presented to the Red Cross from the evening’s proceeds. For the Mayor of Mamer, Luc Feller, this was a first for Restaurant Kugener.
The current Minister of Finance and former Mayor of Mamer, Gilles Roth, who had also often served at the Schueberfouer on this occasion, was present this year as a guest and was served the fish and chips by his successor.
