As part of Orange Week, the municipalities of Mamer, Strassen and Steinfort, in cooperation with the Ministry for Equality between Women and Men (MEGA), organised a forum theatre on the theme of domestic violence in the Holzem village hall.
This was an interactive play in which the audience was involved. Through six scenes, the actors from the drama school showed the different forms of domestic violence. After each scene, the audience was invited to react. The audience of thirty or so participated enthusiastically.
Experts from the police, the Ministry of Gender Equality and various aid organisations explained the phenomenon of domestic violence.
