‘Chance’ exhibition at Galerie op der Kap

Galerie op der Kap (70, route d’Arlon, L-8310 Capellen) is hosting the impressive photo exhibition ‘Chance’ by Ismael Assi, produced in collaboration with a.o. the Maison Citoyenne and the Commission for Social Inclusion in Mamer.

For this exhibition, the artist took his camera back to the route he took as a refugee in 2015 to arrive in Luxembourg from Turkey.

At the opening, in the company of Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette and Alderwoman Francine Closener, as well as members of the local council, Mayor Luc Feller emphasised that the Commune of Mamer was firmly committed to social inclusion.

Citizens of 100 different nationalities live in Mamer, Capellen and Holzem, and this diversity is above all a great enrichment for everyday social life.

The exhibition is open until the 26th of January, from 4pm to 7pm.
