Building bird feeders

The Commission for Energy Transition, Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development invited residents to come and build bird feeders under the Skyliner on Place de l’Indépendance in Mamer. The materials needed for construction were provided on site.

During the two-hour event, no fewer than 50 feeders were assembled. Many children accompanied by their parents made the trip to the church square to do something good for the environment and local birds.

Participants could count on the help of committee members to assemble the feeders. By midday, all the equipment had been used. In return, many satisfied faces could be seen.
