Brill Park vibrates to the rhythm of Tina Turner

Brill Park was packed for the Nutbush show, a tribute to Tina Turner by singer Mona Murray and her band.

For almost two hours, the life and career of one of the most popular artists in music history was celebrated on stage.

With her powerful voice and stage presence, but also her dance moves and costumes, Mona Murray and her dancers embodied Tina Turner – who died in 2023 – in a very authentic way.

The audience was treated to all the big hits, including ‘Private Dancer’, ‘What’s Love Got to Do with It’, ‘Proud Mary’ or ‘Simply the Best’ and of course ‘Nutbush City Limits’ – Tina Turner’s tribute song to her American hometown.

It wasn’t long before the audience was dancing and singing in front of the stage.

Alongside the concert, the quarter-finals of the European Football Championship were broadcast in the park.
