Trees planted for babies born in 2024

As every year, the Syndicat d’Initiative et de Tourisme (SIT) invited the parents of the newborns of 2024 to plant a tree in their child’s honor in the Bambësch forest in Mamer.

Mayor Luc Feller and SIT president Claude Lang presented the families with a souvenir diploma, in the presence of Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette and members of the local council.

Guided by forest ranger Fabrice Reuland and forest workers, the parents planted species resistant to climate change.

The planting ended with soup and hot drinks, welcome in the cold, wet weather.
