Tree Planting for Transition: Invitation to participate

The municipality of Mamer, in collaboration with the European Climate Pact, has launched the “Tree Planting for Transition” initiative in the Bambësch forest in Mamer.

Cycle 3 pupils from Kinneksbond School got the ball rolling by enthusiastically planting the first trees in a project that will see 5,000 trees planted.

The municipality is now inviting citizens to join in this action in favor of the climate.

Planting will take place until Friday, March 6, 2026, daily from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
