Tree planting for the new-born babies of 2022

As it does every year, the Syndicat d’Initiative et de Tourisme (SIT) invited the parents of the newborns of 2022 in the Commune of Mamer, accompanied by their babies, to a tree-planting event at the Bambësch.

Mayor Gilles Roth and SIT President Claude Lang took the opportunity to present the parents with a diploma as a souvenir of the day, in the presence of Aldermen Roger Negri and Luc Feller and members of the local council.

Once in the forest, the fathers and mothers got to work on the spade and, with the help of forest ranger Fabrice Reiland and the forest workers, planted the tree in honour of their baby.
