Repair Cafés are a great success, even in the municipality of Mamer. They are regularly organized in Mamer, Capellen and Holzem by the Commission for Energy Transition, Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development.
The latest Repair Café took place at the Capellen cultural center. It was a great success. Many people came with their faulty appliances, including lamps, vacuum cleaners, cell phones, computers, etc.
While the experts tried to get the devices back in working order, visitors could enjoy a cup of coffee, a piece of cake or watch the repairmen at work. The experts had their hands full. And, in most cases, they succeeded in getting the devices back in working order.
