Seniors are very interested in the Digital World

The Commission on Family and Senior Citizens regularly organizes “Smart Cafés” in collaboration with theHenri Trauffler Youth Center and the Golden Me association. The most recent edition of the event was also a great success.
Throughout the afternoon, mostly older adults came to the Mamer Schlass community hall to seek advice and assistance from experts—in a friendly atmosphere—regarding how to use their cell phones, tablets, or laptops. In addition to the representative from Golden Me, many young people from the Mamer Youth Center once again lent a hand to the seniors.
The goal of the Smart Café is to help people aged 55 and older becomemore familiar with the digital world.
