“Prize for best communal practice” for the Commune of Mamer

For the second time, the commune of Mamer has been awarded the “Best Communal Practice Prize” by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Diversity.

Mayor Luc Feller and Alderman Ed Buchette received the award from Minister Yuriko Backes, in the presence of Vanessa Tarantini, President of the Equal Opportunities Commission, and Bled Bekteshi, head of the Maison Citoyenne.

This distinction underlines the municipality’s concrete commitment to gender equality. The initiatives implemented have been recognized as good practice and serve as inspiration for other municipalities.

In addition to Mamer, the communes of Mondercange, Leudelange, Roeser and Schuttrange also received awards.
