The police have noted an increase in thefts from vehicles parked in isolated or sparsely populated areas and are reminding the publicof a few simple preventive measures.
In particular, it is recommended that you do not leave any valuables in the vehicle, always make sure to lock the doors, windows, and sunroof securely, and report any suspicious persons or vehicles to the police.
