Every year, the Syndicat d’Initiative et de Tourisme (SIT) of the Commune of Mamer organises the ‘Flowering Houses and Villages’ competition. Once again this year, many residents of Mamer, Capellen and Holzem sent photos of their gardens or balconies to the syndicat, which rewarded them for their participation at its general meeting.
The winners were presented with their prizes by the local Mayor, Luc Feller, who was accompanied by Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, as well as members of the local council.
During the general meeting, several SIT members were also honoured for their commitment and received a bouquet of flowers or a bottle of wine.
