During the Night of Sport at the Brill Park, the Commune of Mamer, in collaboration with the Commission for Sports and Leisure, took the opportunity to honour the VC Mamer women’s team for their victory in the Luxembourg Cup last March against Walferdange.
Commission chairman Tom Kerschenmeyer and Mayor Luc Feller, accompanied by Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, Alderwoman Francine Closener and members of the local council, recalled the many fine performances, crowned with league and Luxembourg Cup titles, with which the club has brought honour to the municipality over the years.

With a pretty bouquet of flowers, each player was congratulated on her success and commitment; coach Ranguel Krivov and club president Nenad Andonov received a bottle of wine.
