On the eve of National Day, the Municipality of Mamer has been organizing a large reception for its residents on the plaza in front of Mamer Schlass for many years.
Following the traditional Te Deum at Mamer Church, the mayor’s official speech and the tributes paid on Independence Square beneath the Skyliner, residents were invited to the forecourt of the Mamer Schlass to celebrate our country, the Grand Ducal couple and the Municipality of Mamer together, in summery weather. For, despite the heat, many residents had made their way to the forecourt. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed. There was plenty of laughter and conversation.
After the reception, the festivities continued beneath the Skyliner on Independence Square, accompanied by several concerts.
