Nachhaltigkeit macht Schule’ project: schoolchildren awarded a certificate

A total of 120 children from the fundamental schools in Mamer and Capellen took part in energieagency’s ‘Nachhaltigkeit macht Schule’ project this year. Over the course of six sessions, they were given an introduction to the subject of sustainable development. In particular, it was explained that even small actions can have a positive impact on the environment. The young people were also given an explanation of the greenhouse effect.

All participants received a certificate for their participation. Mayor Luc Feller, Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, Alderwoman Francine Closener and the President of the School Commission, Nadine Schmid, congratulated the pupils on their commitment.
