Learning to ride a bike

As part of Children’s Week, Maison Relais Mamer organized a “Meet & Ride” event. Between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., children were able to ride their bikes around the Kinneksbond school site in Mamer and have a great time.
On this occasion, the Coupe Scolaire was also organized for all Cycle 3.2 pupils at the Mamer Basic School. On a course laid out in the streets of the commune, the pupils were able to demonstrate not only that they knew how to ride a bike, but also that they knew the rules of the road. A total of 35 youngsters took part in the School Cup.
Mayor Luc Feller, aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette, alderwoman Francine Closener and members of the local council were on hand to cheer on the pupils at the Coupe Scolaire. Thanks to ideal weather conditions, the event was a great success.
