A few days before the official start of summer vacation,Capellen Elementary School also celebrated the end of the school year with a big party. However, due to construction on the Capellen school campus, the event was moved to the Sports and Recreation Park. Despite the summery temperatures, many residents came out to share in this festive occasion marking the end of the school year.
Mayor Luc Feller, accompanied by Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette as well as members of the municipal council, was also present to enjoy this beautiful day alongside the children, parents, teachers, and members of the APECH parents’ association, which had organized this celebration in collaboration with the Maison Relais.
As is the case every year, the bouncy castles and skill games were a huge hit. The dance performances by the young people once again served as the highlight of the festival. The atmosphere remained excellent throughout the afternoon. Amid laughter, games, and good cheer, young and old alike have already started making plans for summer vacation.
