Dog Waste: Pick It Up, Show Respect

Dog waste is regularly reported on pavements, footpaths, in parks and near residential properties throughout the Municipality of Mamer. Beyond being unpleasant, it poses a challenge for public hygiene, the environment and the overall quality of life.

The infographic by Ëmwelt Berodung Lëtzebuerg (EBL) highlights why it is essential to pick up after your dog. Besides causing unpleasant odours, dog waste can spread germs and parasites while contaminating soil and water.

The Municipality therefore asks all dog owners to always pick up after their dogs and dispose of the waste in a securely sealed bag in a litter bin.

This simple gesture helps keep public spaces clean and promotes respect for everyone.
