Discovering Traditional Trades in Birgel

The Commission for Family and Third Age organized a wonderful excursion to the water mills in Birgel, Germany. At this historic site, visitors can learn about traditional crafts and discover regional products.
The trip began early in the morning. The participants traveled to Birgel aboard a comfortable bus. They first toured the mill and then, in the afternoon, made their own mustard.
The atmosphere was excellent throughout the day. The participants were very interested and impressed by the mill. Early in the evening, they headed home with smiles on their faces and feeling completely satisfied.
