Discover the region’s birds

The Commission for Energy Transition, Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development once again organized a number of beautiful walks through the local forests as part of its “A Day in Nature” program. Bad weather did not prevent local residents, including many children, from taking part in the activity.
During the walks, which lasted around two hours, the experts, who also included Raoul Mettenhoven, ornithologist with natur&ëmwelt, imparted a wealth of knowledge about the birds of the region. Additional information was provided in a small educational booklet containing photos, names and descriptions of the birds, which was handed out to participants.
On the municipal side, alderman and commission chairman Ed Buchette also took part in this instructive walk.
