The new brochure, “Nature Just a Stone’s Throw Away,” is dedicated to initiatives carried out in collaboration with the SICONA intermunicipal association to preserve nature and promote biodiversity within the municipality of Mamer.
Flowering meadows, insect hotels, traditional orchards, ecological landscaping, and the restoration of waterways: this richly illustrated publication highlights concrete projects carried out in Mamer, Capellen, and Holzem. It explains their importance for local flora and fauna and helps readers discover them through maps showing their locations.
The brochure also highlights the “SICONA Kids” educational activities, which raise children’s awareness of environmental protection.
Published in French and German, it will be distributed to every mailbox in the town and can also be viewed and downloaded below.
