Dinner for CISMA members

To thank the fire brigade of the Firefighting and Rescue Centre Mamer for its tireless commitment to serving all citizens in and around the Commune of Mamer, the College of Aldermen invited both active firefighters and members of the Amicale to a festive dinner at the Mamer Schlass.

Two members of the fire brigade, Andrés Hessenmüller and Ricardo Fernandes Morais, were honoured on behalf of the municipality by Mayor Luc Feller and Centre Chief Patrick Franck for their long years of service.

Mayor Luc Feller also underlined the municipality’s pride in seeing how CIS Mamer has gradually become an important pillar within the CGDIS over recent years.

Here are a few figures: in 2023, 3,884 interventions were carried out, including 3,600 with the ambulance. From January to December 2023, this represents a total of 70,836 hours of service. On 31st of December 2023, CIS Mamer had 66 volunteer firefighters and 17 professional firefighters, as well as 24 young members.

In the company of Aldermen Roger Negri and Ed Buchette and Alderwoman Francine Closener, as well as members of the local council, guests enjoyed an entertaining and convivial evening.
