Climate Pact: The Municipality of Mamer Surpasses the 65% Mark

On Climate Pact Day, 47 municipalities were recognized for their commitment to energy and climate policy. Among them was the municipality of Mamer, which, thanks to its efforts in this area, has now implemented 65% of the Climate Pact’s measures. This represents the second-highest level of certification. The next step will be to obtain the international Gold certificate, awarded for achieving 75% or more.
The audit of the municipality of Mamer took place in July 2025. It revealed that 68% of the criteria were met, which is a very good result. The municipality of Mamer joined the Climate Pact on May 3, 2021.
Roger Negri, the alderman for the Environment, was present at Climate Pact Day and received the certificate from Environment Minister Serge Wilmes.
